You don’t need 3D glasses to see your dream home come to life. With Dowling Homes, you can see your home extension and renovation design ideas in 3D. We don’t just talk about what we can do – we show you!

Be inspired by a selection of our 3D designs below:

Kensington Gardens

Take a look at this gorgeous renovation and extension to a stately old gentleman’s bungalow. The back end of the home was in much need of an upgrade. The layout wasn’t working. And the floor-to-ceiling windows made it a hotbox in summer. The 3D design shows how the whole back will be opened into a stunning alfresco living area, leading seamlessly into the refreshing pool.

Reason #1 – With our 3D design, you can visualise your plans, especially because traditional 2D floor plans can be difficult to get your head around. When you’re making such a big decision about your home, you really want to be able to experience how it will look and feel. Not just the layout and dimensions, but the whole design right down to the details of the windows, doors and floors, and how it’s going to work with the rest of your home.

Myrtle Bank

Have you got a bungalow that you want to update? This beautiful Tudor-style bungalow is just the inspiration you need. The 3D design reveals the enormous new side and rear extensions. Under the main roof, the new alfresco creates an all-weather space, and the double garage with side-access is just what the owners needed.

What could be more luxurious than your very own swimming pool? The glass fence completes the contemporary look, while also providing great security.

Take a look at this view! The 3D design reveals the private courtyard off the master suite and the great use of space throughout.

Unley

This gracious villa is oozing character – just look at that verandah! None of that needs to be lost – in fact, our design enhances it with a renovation to existing rooms, as well as a rear extension. A beautified master suite will be complimented by a new walk-in robe, dressing room and ensuite. While at the rear, an incredible open plan living, dining and kitchen area shows how this villa can have new life.

Our 3D design shows the new wraparound al fresco and breezeway to the new double garage at the rear. This is a smart way to add modern architectural style to your home, without detracting from its heritage.

For this heritage stone-row cottage in Hackney, we’ve designed a fabulous uber chic two storey modern extension on the back. You can see how the stacker doors on the top master suite lead out to a gorgeous rear private terrace, while those on the ground level open out to a fantastic rear deck.

Reason #2 – 3D design lets you get involved in every part of the design process. Want to see that open plan living area with wall-to-wall sliding doors? No problem. Want to see how the al fresco will look and feel? It’s right before your eyes!

You’ll see for sure that it’s going to be wonderful!

Grange

This wonderful 3D design at Grange shows what our customers will be able to enjoy …

We’re totally renovating the front to create a modern look with lots of character.  Extending the upper and lower floors creates the perfect space for an open-plan kitchen and dining area, office, spacious lounge room, family room, and sleek new laundry. Upstairs, the owners can enjoy a generous master bedroom with walk-in robes, a luxurious en-suite and private balcony.

But the real secret is hidden in the back where a gorgeous pool house and huge al fresco deck create the entertainer’s paradise – complete with an outdoor kitchen! Take a look for yourself on the 3D plan.

Reason #3 – Because you’ll have a clear understanding of your space before the building work begins, you can reduce unnecessary changes to the working drawings – which will save you time.

3D images make sure everyone is on the same page. One of our clients joked that our images had prevented a divorce! There are no grey areas – you all see the same thing.

Reason #4 – Unlike paper line drawings, 3D designs will help others imagine how great your home will be. Want to keep things sweet with the neighbours? Show them how beautiful your home will look and watch the relief on their faces as all their concerns disappear. Show your friends and family too and see them get excited about your plans.

Kensington Gardens

We absolutely love this gorgeous symmetrical villa – so we can completely understand why the owners have chosen a renovation and extension rather than selling! And this Kensington home is not the first symmetrical villa we’ve worked on; we have many people asking us how they can modernise and enhance their villa with a renovation and extension. This 3D design shows just one of the endless ways it can be achieved.

Here, we’re extending the side and the rear of the home, plus adding a fabulous double garage with side access from the laneway. Take a look at the stunning alfresco area with retractable roof blinds. One of the many highlights in this magnificent space is the cellar, which is entered through an automated hatch in the open-plan living area! What better way to gain additional space than by going underground.

Reason #5 – 3D exteriors won’t cost you a cent!

It’s all part of the service – we include 3D designs for all our building projects.

Whether your dream is big or small – lower, upper, or double storey, it’s included.

See what your dream home will look like before the first brick has even been laid.   Show it off to the neighbours. And start imagining how your lifestyle will be transformed.

Already got plans but didn’t get a 3D design? No problem. We can create a 3D design from your plans too.

So you’ve seen the proof that you can see what your home extension will look like before we build it. It doesn’t get better than that, and it’s all part of the service!
