Imagine yourself drinking in the beautiful Adelaide summer sun and sipping prosecco just three kilometres from the city. Molto bene!
With an amazing upper storey like this, you can have your very own little piece of Sicily!
This dream is taking shape right in the heart of Hackney. We’re keeping the beautiful rustic stone on this heritage listed cottage and opening up the whole property to the sun with a tiled upper-storey terrace.
Picture a home that has it all –a sun-kissed terrace, a show-stopping kitchen, an uber chic bathroom sanctuary with free standing bath… That’s exactly what we’ve created at Hackney. And it’s not just an upper storey extension – it’s a double storey extension! Providing two new levels of incredible living space, this proves again that you can have it all – go up, go out, or do both.
There’s no denying the original house had charm, but there was definitely room for improvement if the owners were going to start enjoying the lifestyle they were dreaming of. Take a minute to look at video 1 – you’ll see what we mean.
The potential was there to transform the space into something truly exceptional – it just needed the right builders to make it reality.
The project began when Steph and Andrew first approached Dowling Homes with their vision. And it’s been moving along fast.
Of course, it helps that the owners have terrific taste. Just wait till you see what’s on the inside! Their personality and style will shine in every part of this dream home – inner city living at it’s very best.
Every element has been carefully considered – and the result will be an amazing upper storey extension that talks to the home’s heritage with complete grace.
These Hackney home owners are about to have it all. We’ll be showing you their wonderful finished dream home very soon – so stay tuned!
